27th Annual Daytona Beach Biketoberfest 2015 at Cacklebery Campground in Samsula, FL

N 27..... nope not bingo, this is the 27th annual Biketoberfest in Daytona Beach Florida and was Cackleberry Campgrounds 4th major motorcycle event and it just keeps growing and growing every year. We are looking forward to the 75th Bike Week at Cackleberry Campground, anyhow back to the story. I arrived Wednesday evening and was met at the front gate by Ron and Jenn, the owners of the Cackleberry. I was greeted with such friendliness and they just took care of my staff and myself throughout the whole weekend it was just awesome. I think the only bad part of the whole Biketoberfest was me not being able to ride my motorcycle, yeah, I had to bring the old Dodge conversion van we had so much camping and cameras and photo and video equipment it was amazing, but we did it. I felt even worse when the thousands of motorcycles converged on the campground throughout the entire four day Biketoberfest weekend.
Thursday evening a band started playing at 6 p.m. and the music continued right on through the midnight hour. The weather was typical North Florida fall weather, low eighties in the day high sixties in the night. You can't ask for any better weather that, and rain, not a drop to be seen anywhere.

The following day the International Bikini Team girls showed up on the scene and lo and behold they were parked only 25 yards away from my campsite, hehe, that was pretty cool as I had to look at all of them beauties all four days glorious days. Cycle Shotz Chief Photographer Kathy arrived around noon on Thursday and did her usual bang-up job with photos throughout the whole eveny and she even went downtown so we'll have some special coverage of that for you too. Also on Thursday, an old friend and photographer from Michigan, Pat 'Sparky' Lewis arrived. As we shared cameras, it was too difficult to separate the photos, so they are all in sections 1 thru 3. Enjoy!!
Thursday, and the rest of the event, we got to watch the girls from the International Bikini Team riding the bull, serving up a little beer, riding the go-carts, and yes all around general having themselves a blast. They also were the stars of the Bikini Contest on Saturday evening.
Blind Bob aka The Lizard man also arrived on Thursday and proceeded to burn off three or four tires that day I think by the time it was all over his 883 Sportster had burn off 50 tires to date. Dr. Tina Bennett a chiropractor on site was performing her chiropractic miracles and not just on humans, she even did it on a little wiener dog! The go-kart track was awesome as it was busy from the time I got there Wednesday night and I left Sunday afternoon. My one little friend from the event that I have met there and (we're almost family now) I can't remember her name, I'm old sorry, but she just tore that track up as she does every year. She is awesome and we do have pictures of her and I will post them.

All the vendors and food vendors from Fajita Mike to the man with the liquor on a stick did pretty good all weekend long and they had a good time. I even got me a sign made that's really really cool for the CycleShotz website.

As I mentioned earlier, the 75th anniversary of Daytona Bike Week is this spring of 2016. We expect it to be exceptionally crowded, so you may want to book you campsite earlier at the world famousCacklebery Campground.
