75th Daytona Beach Bike Week at Cacklebery Campground 2016

Samsula, FL MARCH 15, 2016) Soooooooo.....where do I start? From my arrival on Thursday afternoon, the 3rd of March to the time I left on Sunday the 13th of March I did not stop once from having fun. The entertainment actually began Thursday evening and continued for the next 10 days. And what a schedule, from Donny's Big Daddy Band, Natalie Nicole Green, Jeff Vitolo, to Jasmine Cain and all the others that appeared on stage, Cacklebery just kept going on and on stronger than that damn battery rabbit.........
The campground itself was also awesome with staff not only cleaning the venue grounds every morning, but keeping the campground, the restrooms and the showers sparkling clean (5* Rating from me!!). I do know however a few of us had wished for more than the 12.3 drops of rain that came down around Wednesday as that would have assisted in keeping the pollen count down.

This brings me back to the event, yes I have a great time everytime I go to Cacklebery Campground. This year though I had to bring the Hoesmobile, the big green conversion van that contains my bed, kitchen and of course TV (like I had time for that), and of course, my new trailer so I could participate in Trailer Week..........
It was great seeing some of the vendors who have been there since Cacklebery began their entertainment portion of the Daytona Bike fests. Fajita Mike was in his usual location, with my buddy Kayla and her vendor stall right next to him. They both get along well, even though the the master of the Go Cart Track, Kayla, spun Mike out into the tires a few times ( I think he might have went and seen Dr. Tina for an adjustment). Speaking of tires, 'Blind' Bob Eckeert, the King of the Burnout pit, kept burning off tires until on the last Saturday night, he smoked off his 75th tire in honor of the 75th Anniversary of Daytona Beach Bike Week 2016. All that on his 883 Sporster.
I look forward to seeing my Daytona 'family' again in October, and might I suggest you get your spot reserved, whether you are a vendor or a camper!!!! Hope to see everone there at Cacklebery Campground. Most of the photos here are Kathy's, with a sparse smattering of mine added here and there.

Thank you Cacklebery Campground, Ronnie Lee Williams Jenny Floyd Williams Chuck Powers and all the rest of the staff.....yep, that includes you Ambermarie Noland and Diane Parks. Bryan Lambert was very helpful in my video endeavors. Ralph, the sound man was also a great help. Sending out a special thanks to all of The Hollywood Knockouts, you girls were fantastic!! All the bands, vendors, and attendees were all extremely friendly.
