12 Step Music Fest 2010, Sugarloaf Key, Florida
Day 1


Look out Florida Keys, here we come again! We left early on Wednesday so we could miss the rain. So much for self will run riot. It rained for about 50% of the trip. We made it to Marathon and it was time for a room and dry clothes. Even made time for a meeting that night.
Woke up early the next day and continued our travels the rest of the way to Sugarloaf Key. Arriving early, we had to wait for our luggage and tent to arrive, soooooooooo, we did the tourista thang and rode on down to Key West. We only rode down Duvall Street, and then stopped at a Shop and Rob for a donut and drink before we headed on back to the KOA Campground.
Just about the time we arrived back, our crew had arrived and we proceeded to set up our 'compound'. Kinda reminded me of a prison camp!!!!. I then began the task of taking the many photos in this series. As most of you know, I really enjoy taking pictures, and it makes it even more pleasant when it has to do with recovery events.
Throughout the day and night, I attempted to traverse the campground and get as many various pictures that I could. Once again this year, I was allowed to get up on the stage and get some great photos of the performers. I was also able to take some high-def videos, but the sound was not as good as I would have liked it to be. Hopefully next year I will have the real deal hi-def video camera.
