Alternative MC Annual 2009, Pompano Beach, Florida


Alternative MC's Annual Run is a no miss for me. The weather couldn't have been any more perfect for this time of the year.
The event was held this year at Bruce Rossmeyers' Pompano Harley Davidson, and includes three different chapters, Fort Lauderdale, Treasure Coast, and Delray Beach. The popularity of this venue also helps bring in the crowds. By the way, congrats to Sonny on his purchase of a brand spankin' new store bought Harley!
The event began around noon o'clock for the guests, but the club was there earlier than 7:00AM to prepare for a long but rewarding day. I saw what I believe was every major motorcycle club in south Floride in attendance. Throughout the gig, a live band was playing some really great music. Later in the afternoon, about 3PM, Hazmat began awarding the door prizes which went from 'nut covers' to a nice motorcycle lift. The day concluded with the 50/50 drawing.
If you are not aware, Alternative MC is a clean and sober club, with many members and chapters throughout the USA.
