DAYTONA BEACH. FL (Oct 14, 2011) Welcome to our photo and video coverage of Biketoberfest 2011! This year the CycleShotz staff did not ride to Daytona as we had to haul the mobile studio. The studio is equipped with most of the comforts of home, with private sleeping quarters for the staff. Photos of the studio will be posted on the final photo page of the series. This was Mongo's first year of photographing this event, and as you will see, he did an excellent job. He took close to 2000 photos of the event. We will be posting these indexed by the day of the shoot. We arrived Friday around 10AM to phenomenal weather, although I heard that the weather on Thursday was really brutal. Usually when I am in Daytona, it rains at least a couple of days and remains really cool, not this year though, it was partly cloudy and just perfect weather for this years event. There were many activities throughout the Daytona Beach area, but since Main Street is where it all began, that is where the CycleShotz staff remained for 3 days of our photo and video coverage. I guess we are just kinda old skool on this. We would really like to express our gratitude to Doghouse Dave for allowing us pretty much free reign of the events going on in both the Dog House tent and the Iron Gate tent. By the way, lets not forget Johns Rock n Ride, one of the original businesses that remains open throughout the year. And one other thing........to the guy on the black Harley............ Enough of my bull, get on down to watching the videos and perusing the largest free photo coverage on the internet of Biketoberfest 2011.
