4th Annual TattooLaPalooza 2012 in Miami, FL

Miami, FL (Jan 7, 2012) This adventure began on Friday night. I received a call from Funky Matas (reference video of him HERE) that he needed a ride to the TattooLaPalooza Convention. Of course, he was out west almost to Sunrise Harley Davidson, which was Wayyyyyyyy off route for us. Since he holds the world recored of names tattooed on his back, how could we resist.
Being unfamiliar with downtown Miami, we ended up at the loading dock at the Hyatt Regency to unload our equipment. Funky and I proceeded to drag it to the regristation area while Mongo went to park his vehicle. About a half hour later, he called and said he got turned around in traffic and would be there in 10 or 15 minutes. NOPE..........he called back in about 15 minutes and said he was just rearended by another vehicle. He finally arrived in the lobby about 2 hours later. What an awesome start to the night.
Upon entering the hall where everone was setup, we started our photo and video coverage of the event. There were artists from all over the country, and even one from China. He apparently brought his own film crew, and on Saturday we met and interviewed the crew from youku.com, China's version of our YouTube.
Throughout the entire event, everyone was extremely courteous and helpful to the CycleShotz crew. As you will see in our EXTREME coverage of the event, everyone appeared to be having a great experience.
We would like to thank Mickey and his 'family crew', Joe Amato of Skin Mechanics and all the other artists on the premises for their cooperation. On another note I found another use for duct tape, but it looked extremely painful. You will see it somewhere in this photo and video coverage of TattooLaPalooza 2012, and you will definitely know what I mean when ya do.
