23rd Annual South Florida Tattoo Expo 2018

So here we are again, although it is only my 15th or 16th time, I will always be blown away by this event. This year was definitely awesome. It appeared to me that the attendance this year was at an all time high! With the addition of the Twenty Penny Circus and of course, our new emcee, Bernadette Macias, we could not go wrong. With various different bands playing throughout the day and night, the suspension shows, Scarey Mary and her Evol Pets, and of course the Twenty Penny Circus there was something going on for all of those in attendance.
The highlight to me of not only this year, but all the other years I have atended was Bernadette tasering Tyler of the Twenty Penny Circus right on the ol' testicals!!! OMG!! I have not laughed that hard in many years. Just watching his partner Carl and his reaction was just too much hilarity for one event!!! Of course, they have been booked already for next years event.
The change in locations for the main outside stage was a great addition to the event this year, as even if it rained, (a little bit), the show went on! This years Hot Body contest was still held poolside, although the girls did not get wet this year. The suspension crew also had a setup poolside and performed one of their amazing shows immediately following the contest. The day before, because of the threat of lightning,(Florida is the lightning capital of the world), they actually commandeered a large luggage rack used normally by the bellhops to not only suspend a beautiful young lady inside of it, but she was actually towed around throughout the entire exhibition hall by two others!! AWESOME!!!
EVen though they don't like to be mentioned, the event is put together by the Wings Of Gold MC who does EVERYTHING that need to be done to make this annual event successful.
Oh, did I mention that ALL the proceeds go to the James Junior Fund and Joe DiMaggio's Childrens Hopspital in Hollywood, Fl.
